Death by Twitter

I swear, Amazon’s MP3 deals Twitter is going to be the death of me. It’s one thing when Amazon sells albums for $8.99, but having one great album after another listed for $3.99, usually $1.99, sometimes even $0.99 – that’s too good to pass up. So far I’ve bought, in chronological order:

Beck’s Odelay ($2.99)

Nick Drake’s Pink Moon ($1.99)

Marvin Gaye’s Let’s Get It On ($1.99)

Curtis Mayfield’s Superfly ($1.99)

The Hold Steady’s Stay Positive ($1.99)

Prince’s 1999 ($1.99)

John Coltrane’s My Favorite Things ($0.99)

Brian Wilson’s SMiLE ($3.99)

Björk’s Vespertine ($3.99)

That’s nine albums for $21.91, an average of $2.43 per album. You know, I’m beginning to think this whole internet thing has its upsides.
