I Do It For the Ladies, But I Gotta Keep It Hood

Can we all agree to be concerned over Michael Phelps’ selection of Young Jeezy as one of his main influences? Not just because Jeezy beat out Phelps’ dad, but because Jeezy just isn’t very good. I, for one, can’t forgive him for “My Hood”, which is just a blatant rip-off of T.I.’s sublime, infinitely superior “Rubberband Man”:

I consider my failure to use the title “Wild as the Taliban” for a post on Afghanistan to be one of the greatest mistakes of my blogging career, one I’ll hopefully correct sometime soon.
