Satan’s righthand man is convicted on four of five counts. It’s obvious that Libby was guilty – of all five counts and probably more. So it’s good thing that he was convicted for at least some of his crimes. However, it’s hard to believe that Cheney won’t press Bush hard for a pardon, and it’s even harder to believe that Bush won’t acquiesce. So I don’t expect Libby to spend a day in jail. Sad, given the horrific damage his actions inflicted on US anti-proliferation efforts.
By the way, get ready to read idiotic conservatives defending perjury when it applies to national security after assailing it when it applies to blowjobs would be fun. Hearing them trying to parse that one will be just uproarious.
